About Us

Anderson Aviation is a family owned and operated flight school located in the heart of Bulverde, TX. Tommy Anderson began the flight school in 2008 with a single Piper Archer aircraft after being furloughed from PSA Airlines. He never imagined the flight school would be such a success years later and see so many students earn their ratings from the school.

With the help of his parents, the flight school began growing quickly thanks to the personal, family difference that Tommy, Tom, and Dana provided.

Tom is our dedicated, loyal Head Mechanic and keeps all the airplanes flight worthy and running well. His hardworking attitude keeps our team of mechanics ready and capable to do whatever it takes to make sure the planes are ready for our students and rentals.

Dana Anderson is the heartbeat and first contact most people have with Anderson Aviation. She is the “Chaos Coordinator” and is skilled at remembering people’s names and stories – which aid her in helping our students get the best care and attention possible for each unique situation.

Tommy worked his way up through the airlines world and is now a Captain with American Airlines. He married his wife, Devin in 2019 and they have three children together. If you spend any time at the airport, you will often see Tommy, Tom or Dana riding around on the golf carts with the kids – waving and checking on things around the school.
